Your weakening cry did not go unanswered that day and although your memory fades like the wake of a boat your spirit will live forever and we will see you some day.

I also knew Laura way back in the days of Coppell TX. She was great and super funny. She was a great friend and person. I still think of her often and miss her. You are missed and loved Laura!

  3. Dan Dasch says:

we corssed the threshhold of time in the desert of the solstice, the dry darkness pulled, it wrenched the light off us, drained the brightness of soul, it cracked like earth so starved for touch, beaten down with hellfire, and she welled up a great explosion, her arms flew out, wrapped from her body, her fingers rained down into the depths, cut great lines in us, the way you see wrinkles cut around the eyes of a weathered century of life, earth swelled, began to beat up and down as glimpses of light held tight, it ripples rizing higher, now circling and pulling taught, no cracks to shadow, no deep expanse of black, now we shine all the brighter, we hold this light wrapped in arms, held in cupped hands, bathed in creation and never forgotten… Thank you for every word. Thank you for every smile. You will always be loved!
